RURAL SERVICES INITIATIVE

Home infusion providers reach patients all across the U.S., from urban areas to the most rural. The ability to serve patients living in rural areas is a strength of the home and specialty infusion industry and was a key factor in achieving a higher rate for COVID mABs. NHIA in partnership with Wellsky, is collecting data from CPR+ or CareTrend users on the number and percentage of patients that utilized home infusion services in rural areas to aid our discussions with the Biden administration about the need to expand access to more Medicare beneficiaries.

Real-world data helps NHIA advocate on behalf of the industry. We urge providers using CPR+ or CareTrend to participate in this initiative by submitting data about their reach into rural areas. The data being collected contains no patient identifiable data, and data can be shared in a de-identified manner.
