Each NHIA concurrent session has been organized within the following track content areas to help you find the educational programs that best suit your dynamic professional development needs and interests (and are marked throughout the brochure with the below icons to assist you with program selections):

clinicalClinical Track—Geared primarily towards the clinical practice areas and comprehensive content most relevant to pharmacists, nurses and other clinicians working within the alternate-site infusion field. These sessions address today's greatest opportunities and challenges facing those offering infusion care to the full spectrum of home-based patients!

Leadership ManagementLeadership & Management Track—Established specifically for alternate-site infusion owners, leaders and management professionals at all levels. The rich, diverse topics of this track range from crafting a corporate culture following a merger or acquisition; to a primer in how to deliver compelling and memorable presentations; incorporating outcomes measurement into your business operations; assessing mobile technology solutions for the alternate-site; and a case study in collaboration from the state of Delaware, featuring an infusion provider who is making a difference in the lives of cancer patients—just to name a few!

reimbursementReimbursement Track—Formulated for both reimbursement staff and others within your alternate-site infusion organization who contribute to the reimbursement process. Even seasoned reimbursement professionals will benefit from a series of small group learning discussions about the most common claims rejection trends; audit survival strategies; self-pay collections in cases of estate/probate and bankruptcy; a primer on the ICD-10 conversion (including a crosswalk of the most common ICD-9 codes); and a reimbursement 101 session for anyone new to home infusion reimbursement—or just seeking some foundational education!
