Tyler J. Wilson

Tyler Wilson has been President & CEO of the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) since August 2015. NHIA represents and advances the interests of organizations that provide infusion and specialty pharmacy products and services to the entire spectrum of home-based patients. 

Wilson is an attorney and trade association executive with cross-industry experience in organization management, public affairs, and government relations. Prior to joining NHIA, he served as Executive Director of the National Association for Proton Therapy (NAPT). At NAPT, Wilson represented major medical centers that offer proton beam radiation therapy on issues related to insurance, reimbursement, research and innovation, public affairs, and patient education. He also maintained responsibility for NAPT affiliate, the Proton Therapy Consortium, and was charged with merging the two organizations.

Before that, from 2006-2013, Wilson served as President & CEO of the American Association for Homecare (AA Homecare), where he increased awareness of the value of home care, strengthened the association's leadership within the industry, and augmented its advocacy and overall government affairs program. 

Wilson earned a bachelor's in Economics from Georgetown University and a law degree from Catholic University Law School. He worked in private practice before joining the U.S. Chamber of Commerce where he focused on domestic policy issues.  In 1994, he transitioned to association management as a vice president at the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association and then in 2000 he entered the health care arena as Executive Director of the American Orthotic & Prosthetic Association.
