The Foundation is an investment in the future of the home and specialty infusion field.  Funds are essential as the Foundation identifies initiatives to support the enhancement of patient care and patient outcomes through leadership, research, and education. A fundraising campaign: Building the Foundation Today —for a Promising Tomorrow, was kicked-off at the National Home Infusion Association's 2016 Annual Conference & Exposition to gain financial support for key initiatives of the Foundation designed to ensure future long-term success for the home and specialty infusion field.  Donor generosity will keep NHIF strong and allow members of the community to be a part of creating solutions that will advance patient care and professional opportunities for the field.

The National Home Infusion Foundation (NHIF) is recognized as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization by the IRS and charitable contributions are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.

You can make a personal or corporate contribution today.

Building the Foundation Today—for a Promising Tomorrow

Donations from the 2016 NHIF Drive will Support Diverse Initiatives:

Patient Satisfaction Study
Creating a standardized patient satisfaction survey tool, along with needed systems for collecting and benchmarking data related to the patient's experience with home infusion across multiple providers, will offer a powerful step toward enabling future measurements of more complex patient-reported outcomes.

Patient Eligibility Study
An objective review of criteria utilized by providers used to determine a patient's eligibility for home infusion.  The goal is to report an industry-wide success rate for patients treated at home with parenteral anti-infectives, and to measure the strength of association between demographic and clinical variables and rates of home infusion therapy success.

Home Infusion Scholarship Programs
To promote leadership and excellence among emerging leaders, NHIF recognizes nurses and pharmacists who are contributing significantly to the field.
