Jeffrey Kelman, M.M.Sc., M.D.

As chief medical officer for the division of CMS implementing Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage managed care programs, Dr. Kelman has been a point person on long-term care and home infusion coverage issues under Medicare Part D.   Dr. Kelman is a board certified physician in internal medicine, pulmonology, and geriatrics. His received a BS and MS in statistics from Brown University, and his MD from Harvard. Prior to joining CMS, he was in a two-person group practice for over 25 years where he served patients in both traditional Medicare and managed care programs.
