OCTANE RACEWAY DRESS CODE AND SAFETY NOTICES DRESS CODE: Dress code for the NHIA Fellowship & Networking Event is casual. Guests participating in kart racing, rock-climbing, the “Pit Crew Challenge” and/or Segway® activities should wear closed toe shoes and appropriate/comfortable clothing for active sport activities.  GENERAL SAFETY RULES AND WAIVER: Whether you are interested in taking on various “adrenaline pumping” activities or just prefer a laid-back evening of food, fun and interesting conversations with colleagues and friends, there is something for everyone at the 2012 NHIA Fellowship & Networking Event! Attendees who wish to participate in kart racing, rock climbing, the “Pit Crew Challenge” and/or Segway® activities must complete a standard waiver form PRIOR to the event—if you plan on attending and engaging in any of the above listed activities, please take a moment now to complete the waiver form on-line (this process should only require about 2 minutes or less of your time and will help your check-in at Octane Raceway be as efficient as possible onsite): http://clubspeedtiming.com/F1PHX/register.aspx Please enter event code 11524 Guests who do not wish to engage in the above activities and choose only to relax at the event and join in less vigorously active options (such as the arcade, Wii™ games, billiard tables, etc…) do not need to complete the waiver. ADDITIONAL KART RACING SAFETY RULES:   All kart drivers must present a valid, state issued ID—and will be asked to watch a short kart racing safety video prior to racing. Octane Raceway will provide mandatory helmets and optional race suits. For safety purposes, guests participating in kart racing will be limited to two alcoholic beverages before racing. Kart drivers must be 18 years of age or older to take part in the kart racing.
