NHIA Idea Exchange - Poster Submission

 

 

For the first time ever, the NHIA Education Committee is hosting an original poster session at the 2010 Annual Conference—showcasing innovative solutions for many of today’s challenging scenarios and improvement opportunities in our field. Posters chosen for the NHIA Idea Exchange will discuss cutting-edge developments for alternate-site infusion best practices, quality improvement successes, or just a few good ideas!

• View selected posters on display throughout the regular NHIA Exposition hours on April 12 - 14, 2010.
• Meet and dialogue with poster authors during a special moderated session conducted on Tuesday, April 13th from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m.

Presenting a poster in the Idea Exchange is a great opportunity to showcase the teamwork and creativity within your organization as you share information that can improve our field. Every organization has at least one good idea to share—consider the following:

• A performance improvement indicator that improved your operations
• An unusual patient case
• Administering a new drug in the alternate care setting
• Collaboration between disciplines that have increased your organizations visibility
• Innovations in recruitment, staff morale, and productivity

We welcome different types of poster submissions, ranging from descriptions of academic-oriented research to more technical topics and practical solutions to common problems.

Whether you are new to the poster-development process, or a seasoned veteran, NHIA’s on-line submission tool will guide you through every step of the way.
