| Industry Standards Guiding Pharmacy and Nursing Care | Cindy Grichek, RN, BSN, CRNI, has been engaged in the clinical practice of high tech infusion therapy her entire nursing career with the last 15 years focused in Home Infusion Therapy. She has managed home infusion operations for nearly 6 years and clinical infusion nursing for 13 years. Cindy more recently functioned as a Quality Improvement Manager for Air Products Healthcare’s infusion sites before assuming her current role as the Manager of Infusion Operations for Rx Pharmacy Services, an Air Products Healthcare company, in Monroeville, PA. |
| Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICC) Lines: Outsourcing Placement and Managing Power PICCs | Debbie Cain RN, CRNI is currently Vice President of Home Parenteral Services (HPS) a hospital based home infusion company based in Springfield, MO. She began her career in home infusion with HPS in 1988. After serving in several clinical roles she was promoted to VP in 1996. Debbie is also a member of the Intravenous Nursing Society achieving certification in 1990. She is also an active member of the Association for Vascular Access and the Missouri Alliance for Home Care. Debbie is a highly respected clinical expert in the home infusion industry and a frequent presenter at INS and NHIA conferences. Anita Brown, RN, is the Director of Nursing for MediLink Homecare in Hammonton, New Jersey. She is responsible for the clinical leadership of the home infusion, outpatient infusion suite and vascular access team departments. MediLink provides PICC insertion services to multiple health care systems in the South Jersey area and collectively places approximately 2500 PICCs per year in the inpatient acute care setting. Anita is a member of the Infusion Nurses Society, serves on the Association for Vascular Access Professional Advisory Committee. |

She has worked in the field of home infusion for more than 15 years, and has assisted clinicians with numerous drug and supply product transitions. She has been responsible for the development of patient and staff education materials to assist in such transitions. |

Prior to this, David was the Vice President of Facility Management and Construction for Coram Specialty Infusion Services. David has designed, engineered and constructed or remodeled over thirty clean rooms, focusing on process flow and USP <797> compliance. |
| Pain Management Dosing Regimens | Pammi Farren, RPh, PhD, manages pharmacy and branch operations for a national home infusion provider. In addition to her experience as a practitioner in home infusion, she has received advanced pharmacokinetic training within the Graduate Degree program in Pharmaceutics at The Ohio State University. Pammi has taught pharmaceutics as an Assistant Professor, Clinical at OSU. Pammi has mentored pharmacy students in an affiliation program with a local university, and is well versed in the area of providing students with the fundamental knowledge base needed for a successful transition to home infusion pharmacy. |
| Managing Patients in Remote Locations | Marian Marcoccio BSN, CRNI has extensive experience in the home infusion industry in a variety of clinical, marketing, educational and nursing management roles. She has assisted home infusion companies in every facet of patient care management, including identification of resources for patients in remote areas. She is a licensed nurse in RI, MA and NH, is a member of INS, AVAN and ONS and has served as the RI Chapter President for Infusion Nurses Society. |

Bing, RPh, MS, FASHP is the Operations Performance Manager for Critical Care Systems, where she supports the clinical and operational oversight for the Company, and oversees the development and maintenance of the Standards of Practice policies and procedures.Caryn has more than 25 years of health care practice and management experience with significant time spent in the infusion industry in clinical, general, and corporate management roles with other regional and national providers. She was also a Joint Commission Surveyor for seven years. Caryn has given many professional presentations, is widely published, and is well known as Editor of Extended Stability of Parenteral Drugs. |
| Intra-articular Medication Administration | Felicia Schapps is a registered nurse with more than 20 years of experience in home infusion business management and direct patient care. She has worked closely with physicians and surgeons to coordinate a program of intra-articular medication therapy for discharged surgical patients, providing staff education as well as patient and caregiver education on self-care. |

Prior to that, he has held positions of increasing responsibility in the home infusion industry including; Pharmacy Manager, Regional and National Pharmacy Manager and National Director of Pharmacy. In his role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Clinical Officer at Qmedex he oversees all developmental pharmacy related activities both clinical and distributive. |
| Contracting Strategies for Small Providers | Sandy Tzaferos, RPh, is the founder and President of Medilink Homecare, Inc., a home infusion pharmacy that she started in central New Jersey in 1994. Sandy manages the company and is also involved in patient care. She has been instrumental in growing her infusion business through her efforts to partner and contract with a variety of complimentary organizations and payers. Anne DiRenzo, MS, manages all sales and marketing activities for MediLink Homecare, an independently owned infusion therapy company. Her responsibilities include relationship building with physicians, discharge planners, nurse case managers, insurance company and hospital executives. Anne develops and implement new lines of business, handles contracting, and fosters provider network relationships. She has over 15 years of diverse sales and marketing experience that includes sales for a regional Anheuser Busch wholesaler as well as holding the position of Director of Membership for the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce. |
| Moving from the Audience to the Podium- Tips for Becoming a Public Speaker | Anna Nowobilski-Vasilios PharmD, MBA, FASHP, BCNSP is Principal at Anovation, Inc., a firm specializing in the consultative support of the home infusion, specialty pharmacy, and other industries related to home care. Most recently, she served OptionCare for 14 years as Senior Vice President, Care Management Services, Residency Director, Continuing Education Administrator, Vice President of Clinical Services, Senior Director of Program Development, National Director of Pharmacy, and Director of Franchise Implementation.She has participated in numerous presentations, and has published articles on the subjects of home infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, nutrition support, and interdisciplinary collaboration. |
| Continuous Quality Improvement | Although currently Director of Clinical Support for Curlin Medical, based in Huntington Beach, California, Rad Dillon R.Ph, CQM, CQA ,has over twenty years experience in the home infusion industry with a variety of regional and national providers, including “old” Caremark, Caretenders of Kentucky, Apria Healthcare, Crescent Healthcare of California, and Optioncare. | Communication between pharmacy, nursing and billing | Julie Slattery MS, RN has over 17 years of healthcare experience ranging from acute care to home health and is the Clinical Services Manager at Chartwell Wisconsin. Julie oversees all clinical activities including Pharmacy, Operations and Nursing Departments for the home infusion pharmacy. She serves a key role as a clinical liaison between the organization, hospital, insurance and subcontractor partners. She has presented multiple continuing education inservices and training programs to managed care and home health partners. | Staff Development, Team Building and Employee Retention | Jeff Battinus is the Regional Recruiter for the Central Division at Coram-Apria Healthcare. He received his bachelors in philosophy from the University of Illinois Chicago. He is also a graduate of the MBA program at the University of Phoenix. His previous experience was in one of the largest hospital systems in Chicago where he was the sole recruiter for a 280 bed facility and 28 outpatient branches serving the northwest area of Chicago. His current focus is mainly in the recruitment and retention of clinical managers, nursing, and pharmacy professionals. He has experience in developing employee retention programs, and developing in-service training for recruitment and interviewing tactics. |

She currently is the reimbursement business improvement manager leading changes to improve the company's reimbursement processes. |

| DME-MAC Jurisdiction A | Elizabeth Daniels is an Outreach Specialist with NHIC, the Jurisdiction A Durable Medical Equipment Medicare Adminstrative Contractor (DME MAC). Elizabeth has eight years of experience with this line of business, which includes six years experience with her current position in the Outreach and Education Team. Elizabeth has come to NHIC from the previous DMERC contractor, HealthNow New York Inc. Elizabeth gained extensive knowledge of the Medicare medical policies and procedures by working for the former DMERC contractor as an ombudsman and a customer service representative. Jim Hardiman is an Outreach Specialist with NHIC, Corp., DME MAC Jurisdiction A. He has more than 14 years of experience with the DMEPOS Medicare line of business, including his current position with the Outreach and Education Team. |
| DME-MAC Jurisdiction B | Sonja Racke began with National Government Services under the legacy company AdminaStar Federal as the Local Provider Education and Training Coordinator. She began in 2003 in the Medical Review and Education Department, then moving to the Clinical Education Department of Provider Outreach in 2006. Sonja is the Team Lead for the Mid West and West Regions of National Government Services for the Part A Intermediary, the Part B Carrier for Kentucky and Indiana, the Regional Home Health and Hospice Intermediary, and the DME MAC for Jurisdiction B. Nikia Simmons is the Jurisdiction B DME MAC Provider Outreach and Education Representative for Illinois. She joined the Provider Outreach and Education Department in July of 2008. Nikia has 5 years of experience working on the durable medical equipment contract with National Government Services, most recently having been the trainer for the Provider Customer Care Contact Center. |

Dante' was promoted to Quality Assurance Auditor, and a DME Customer Service Trainer. | Sales 101 | Gregg Petrillo is the Lead District Sales Manager for Chartwell of Pennsylvania. He has been with Chartwell for 10 years and handles all of the largest and most complicated accounts from a sales and account management perspective. His role includes developing and maintaining customer relationships, fostering relationships between Chartwell operations and customers, and providing timely statistical updates regarding referral and revenue activity. |
