Why should I stay in the NHIA hotel room block?

  • Convenience: Activities and programs that are not held in the Convention Center are generally held at a conference hotel.
  • Networking: Most conference attendees say that a major benefit of the NHIA annual conference is the interaction with others in the field. When you stay at a conference hotel, there are many opportunities to interact with your peers, talk over a drink or snack, or chat in one of the conversation areas in the lobby.
  • Support Your Association and Future Conferences: When NHIA fills—or exceeds—the contracted room block, this gives us a firm foundation for negotiating with future hotels. The bigger the room block, the greater the opportunity to acquire prime cities, prime hotels, prime meeting space, and prime guest room rates! Help keep your Association’s—and your— costs down by staying at a conference hotel.
