Getting to Phoenix
Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is located approximately ten minutes from the heart of downtown Phoenix and the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. Twenty-one major airlines provide nonstop or direct flights to/from 104 cities worldwide from Sky Harbor.
Getting To and From the Airport and Hotel
Shuttle Service
The Hyatt Regency Phoenix offers airport transportation that is serviced through Desert Coach or Super Shuttle. Both companies pick up at designated areas outside of each terminal:
- Call Desert Coach at 602-286-6161 for rates.

Taxi Cabs
Taxis are available from the airport and cab lines may be found curbside outside the baggage claim areas of each terminal. Cab fares are not regulated—check with the driver before starting out, as many will negotiate. Current rates are required to be posted on the outside of each vehicle.
What to Wear?
The dress code for the NHIA Annual conference is business casual. The climate in Phoenix is mid 70s during the day and low 50s in the evenings. Be sure to bring a sweater or light jacket for chilly evenings and variable classroom temperatures.
