Continuing Education*
All 2008 NHIA Annual Conference educational programs will offer both pharmacy and nursing continuing education, unless otherwise noted.
*Note: Participants must complete and submit an NHIA Continuing Education Packet after attending programs to receive credit.
Pharmacy
NHIA programming is co-sponsored by the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA), which is approved by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing education. The 2008 NHIA Annual Conference provides up to 25.5 contact hours (2.55 CEUs) of continuing pharmacy education credit.
Nursing
The NHIA 2008 Annual Conference programming is pending approval by the Virginia Nurses Association, which is accredited as an approver of continuing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Commission on Accreditation. The 2008 NHIA Annual Conference will provide up to 25.5 contact hours of continuing nursing education credit.
